Research and Communications Specialist - Washington, D.C.


PRIMARY PURPOSE

Support research, analysis, forecasting, policy development and communications functions for the Government Affairs, Member Services and CEO departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Requires a BA/BS degree. Communications and/or International Relations training and experience.

Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, speak and translate). Excellent writing skills, including superior ability to draft original text independently.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects. Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to meet deadlines and to work independently and with initiative.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

TRAVEL

Up to 45 days per year including both domestic and international travel.
