World Council of Credit Unions' annual regional technical congresses bring together credit union leaders from across a particular region to learn, network and train on issues relevant to the credit union system in their part of the world. Venues change annually, as World Council co-hosts the congresses with a different credit union league each year.
In addition to the congresses, attendees may register for the Manager Certification Program, a two-year training program for current and aspiring credit union managers. The program runs concurrently with the congresses.
*Please note that in 2009, the only Manager Certification trainings being held are for second year students at the Rural Microfinance conference in Mexico and at the Pacific Credit Union Technical Congress in Fiji. Regional Congresses in Africa and Europe will not be held this year.
