Do I need to pre-select attendance to breakout sessions?
No. Breakout sessions are open to anyone registered for the conference. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

When is the last day I can register for the conference?

There is no on-site registration. WOCCU recommends that people register before June 11, 2008. People who do not register before this date risk not having their registration materials prepared for them upon arrival to the conference.

Can I reserve a meeting room for my team to meet?

Yes. E-mail Sue Sabatke, WOCCU Conference & Special Events Manager at ssabatke@woccu.org. Specify your meeting space requirements such as meeting date, meeting time, room configuration (e.g., theatre, boardroom or classroom), anticipated number of attendees, food and beverage and A/V requirements. She will be happy to assist you with your request.

Is there translation offered at the conference?

All plenary sessions are in English. Simultaneous translations are provided for all plenary sessions and selected breakout sessions. Typically, two of the four sessions per breakout session hour are translated.  WOCCU Board Policy allows provision of translation for any non-English speaking delegations of 30 people or more.

How do I get my headset for translations?

Headsets will be provided to all attendees whose language will be translated at the time of on-site registration. The attendees will keep the headsets for the entire duration of the conference. At the end of the awards ceremony, headsets must be returned. Attendees who do not return their headsets will be charged US$100 per unit lost.
