Claudia and her daughter Clarissa live in a poor village in Mexico. Claudia’s husband left when she was three months pregnant and never returned. They seemed destined for a life of poverty, but Claudia got help from a WOCCU credit union. She got a low-interest loan to build a new house, and now she is on her way to starting a new business and providing her daughter a better life.
