The 2008 WOCCU Latin American Regional Forum is a collaboration between World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and the National Federation of Guatemalan Credit Unions (FENACOAC). It will take place August 11-15, 2008 at the Vista Real Hotel in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The forum provides a unique training opportunity and helps establish and strengthen contacts with credit union movements from across the region. Previously, the forum was open exclusively to WOCCU's Latin American members, Supporters, and affiliated credit unions; however this year for the first time, the forum is open to all credit union leaders from Latin America. WOCCU's Manager Certification Program will run concurrently with the Latin American Regional Forum. As such, participants in the forum will not be able participate in the Manager Certification Program, just as participants in the Manager Certification Program will not be able to attend the forum sessions.
