World Council is pleased to recognize and honor individuals and organizations whose efforts have made the credit union system what it is today: an international movement of "people helping people to help themselves." That self-help and self-reliance is made possible through a global cooperative community dedicated to enabling millions of people to grow by providing access to affordable financial services.

| Distinguished Service Award

World Council's Distinguished Service Award is the
highest honor paid to individuals and institutions by the worldwide credit
union movement. Created to recognize outstanding contributions to international
credit union development, Distinguished Service Awards are presented each year
at World Council's World Credit Union Conference.

| World Council's Young Credit Union People Program (WYCUP) |
|
WYCUP is an annual scholarship program designed
to engage and promote the next generation of credit union professionals and
volunteers in the international credit union movement. The program encourages
the sponsorship of individuals 35 or younger who have made a significant
contribution within their own credit union or credit union organization as
nominees for the WYCUP Scholarship. WYCUP nominees are sponsored by their
nominating organizations to attend World Council's World Credit Union Conference, where
the scholarship is awarded.

| Credit Union Ambassador’s Award |
|
World Council's Credit Union Ambassador's Award recognizes the contributions
of individuals or organizations for their commitment to fostering international
credit union development. This award is usually granted on the occasion of a
special event, such as a significant anniversary year of the organization
involved.

International Executive Volunteer Corps
|
|
The International Executive Volunteer Corps (IEVC) recognizes
the efforts of international volunteers who are instrumental in
achieving World Council's mission of financial empowerment. IEVC members are affiliated with World Council's International Partnerships Program.

| Resolutions
|
|
Approved by the World Council board of directors or the
general assembly, Resolutions formally honor a variety of contributions to the
movement. Resolutions are presented on such occasions as retirement or in
memoriam of an individual who has served the credit union movement over the
course of a career, or to organizations that have fostered a commitment to
credit union principles at an international level.
