Cancellation Policies

 

Attendee Registration

Registrations cancelled on or before September 15, 2016 are subject to a $100 USD cancellation fee. Registration fees are non-refundable after September 15, 2016. Cancellations and refund requests must be requested in writing and sent to tbelekevich@woccu.org. Refunds will not be provided to participants who do not attend the workshop.  Substitutions are accepted at any time prior to the start of the program at no additional cost.

Hotel Reservations

All hotel reservation cancellations must be submitted in writing to tbelekevich@woccu.org by Thursday, September 15, 2016.  Any change or cancellation received after this date may incurr a penalty fee of up to 100% of the value of the daily rate multiplied by the number of days reserved, subject to the conditions of the hotel. 

General Terms

  • All registrants are strongly advised to secure travel insurance for attending the workshop
  • The organizer reserves the right to alter any of the arrangements for the workshop and workshop related activities, including cancellation of the event should unforeseen circumstances require such action. The organizer accepts no responsibility for resulting costs and inconveniences to conference participants.
  • By registering for WOCCU's Technical Workshop, participants give permission for their contact information (Name/Organization/Country/email) to be used for "Official the World Council of Credit Unions Purposes" and may be shared with sponsoring vendors.
  • By submitting your credit card, you are authorizing the World Council of Credit Unions to charge your credit card the total amount due and you acknowledge that there are no refunds granted for cancellations received after September 15, 2016. World Council reserve the right to charge the correct amount if it is different from the total due listed at the end of the registration process or the total amount charged after registration is submitted. Payment for total registration amount is due within 10 business days of your processed registration. If payment is not received your registration will be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel your registration and any housing.
  • The World Council of Credit Unions will take photographs at all activities and education sessions during the Workshop. By participating in the Technical Workshop and/or other activities, you grant World Council the right to use your name, photograph and biography for such purposes including but, not limited to, posting or publishing on news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the World Council of Credit Unions website. All pictures become the property of the World Council of Credit Unions. Pictures may be displayed, distributed and used by the World Council of Credit Unions for any purpose.
  • Participant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the World Council of Credit Unions, their officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, causes of action, demands or liabilities of whatsoever kind and nature, including judgments, interest, attorney's fees, other costs, fees, expenses and charges which the World Council of Credit Unions, their offices, directors, employees and agents may incur that arise out of the negligence, gross negligence or willful misconduct of the participant.
