American Heritage Federal Credit Union Merges With Philadelphia—South Jersey/U.N.I.T.E Credit Union

Philadelphia, PA— Effective May 1, 2004, Philadelphia-South Jersey/U.N.I.T.E FCU has merged into American Heritage FCU. The merger adds over 320 new members to the American Heritage family of membership, as well as over $930,000 in total assets.

The Philadelphia-South Jersey/U.N.I.T.E Credit Union was based on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia and represented various companies throughout Philadelphia, suburban Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Members can now conduct business at American Heritage locations, including offices at Chestnut, Market, and Arch Streets.

American Heritage Federal Credit Union, a $410 million financial institution headquartered in Northeast Philadelphia, now has 14 branches serving over 71,000 members and over 600 sponsor companies in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and Philadelphia.

World Council of Credit Unions is the global trade association and development agency for credit unions.
