(WOCCU) reminds all credit union leaders of the
approaching June 1st early bird deadline for the
7th International Leadership Institute. This
years Leadership event will be held at the
Atlantis Resort on Paradise, Island located in
Nassau, Bahamas.
"We encourage credit union leaders to register
early to take advantage of the early bird
discount pricing. Attendees can save $100 on
registration and even more if they are also
registering companions," explained Kimberly
Johnston, WOCCU Marketing & Communications
Manager.
The 2004 Leadership Institute brings together
CEOs, board of directors and other credit union
leaders from over 40 countries. The event allows
credit union leaders to address high-level topics
for credit union systems and provides best
practice approaches. WOCCU's Leadership Institute
provides leaders with the critical tools
necessary in today's world of ever-changing
member needs.
WOCCU's Leadership Institute is designed to
further the knowledge of those in a leadership
capacity within credit unions, whether
volunteers, executives or managers. In the midst
of technological advancements, unexpected
disasters and increasing sophistication in
members' needs, this year's Institute will focus
on how these leaders can showcase the "Value in
the Credit Union Difference" within their own
organizations. The program features engaging
speakers, breakout sessions and workshops on
leadership, marketing, technology and other
relevant issues important to developed and
developing credit union movement.
An impressive lineup of Key note speakers
include: Jane Sanders, speaking on Master
Breakthrough Strategies of Top-Performing Credit
Unions; Roxanne Emmerich guiding credit union
leaders through Achieving the 3 Pillars of
Authentic Leadership; and finally Dave Mowat
and
Bruce Ralston revisiting Responsible Corporate
Citizenship Brings Value to Credit Union Members
& Their Communities.
