Nominate Young Credit Union Leaders for WOCCU ScholarshipApplication Deadline is June 2, 2006!
World Council of Credit Unions, Inc.
(WOCCU)
will award its sixth annual Young Credit Union
People (WYCUP) Scholarship to five young credit
union leaders at this year's annual conference
in Dublin, Ireland, from July 27-30, 2006. Join
WOCCU in supporting the future of the
international credit union movement by
nominating an employee or co-worker by June 2,
2006!
At the conference in Ireland, WYCUP nominees
will participate in events, such as a networking
session, organized specifically for them.
Scholarship winners will be announced during the
closing session of the conference and earn an
all-expense paid trip to the 2007 World Credit
Union Conference in Calgary, AB, Canada.
To be eligible for the WYCUP scholarship,
nominees must:
1) be 35 years of age or younger on January
1,
2006;
2) be an active employee or volunteer with a
credit union or organization affiliated with the
international credit union system;
3) be personally committed and able to
locally,
nationally and internationally influence credit
union development;
4) be sponsored by their credit union or
credit
union organization to attend the World Credit
Union Conference held in Dublin, Ireland, from
July 27-30, 2006;
5) submit a complete application form,
available
at
https://www.woccu.org/involve/docs/wycup_pdf_engl
ish.pdf, with all necessary supporting
materials, to WOCCU no later than Friday, June
2, 2006.
