Support Credit Unions Worldwide: Donate to World Council's Online Auction
Items and custom experiences needed to make online auction a success
June 04, 2012
MADISON, Wis. — The Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions believes there is no better way to empower the world's working poor than through credit unions. Drive this mission forward by donating an auction item or custom experience to World Council of Credit Union's online charity auction and raise funds to expand credit union access and improve lives on an international level.
Visit www.biddingforgood.com/woccu and click on the "Donate Items" button to submit your charitable donation today. Popular items in the past include state-themed baskets, tickets to sporting events, unique travel experiences and items related to a credit union's primary membership. Donations must be pledged before the auction starts on July 6, 2012.
"This is a wonderful way to support developing credit unions. Get creative and donate something that represents you, your credit union, league or location. Bidders always love the variety and unique items," said Judy Ensweiler, wife of Texas Credit Union League President and CEO Dick Ensweiler, who is co-chairing the auction this year with Crissy Cheney, wife of CUNA President and CEO Bill Cheney.
All proceeds will go to the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions, World Council's charitable arm, to support credit union development programs. For more information about the auction, contact Valerie Breunig at +1-608-395-2055 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
