MADISON, Wis.—World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) has negotiated
reduced hotel rates for attendees at its 2009 World Credit Union
Conference in Barcelona, Spain. Attendees who register by the May 20th
"early bird" deadline can save a full third on room costs for the July
26-29 event.
In recognition of the ongoing financial crisis affecting many countries worldwide, new rates were negotiated last week to help attendees of the global event save money. The conference hotels and their discounted standard room prices include:
Hilton Diagonal Mar: Was €200; NOW €150 SOLD OUT
AC Barcelona: Was €165; NOW €110 (single occupancy)
Barcelona Princess: Was €165; NOW €110 (single occupancy)
