WYCUP Scholarship Deadline Extended!

Madison, WI – To allow all interested credit union organizations time to submit their nominations, World Council of Credit Unions, Inc. (WOCCU) has extended its deadline to submit completed application materials for the WOCCU Young Credit Union Professionals (WYCUP) Scholarship Program to Friday, June 24, 2005.

At WOCCU's World Credit Union Conference, five young credit union leader aged 35 years of age and younger from around the globe will receive scholarships to attend the 2005 World Credit Union Conference in Dublin, Ireland. The WYCUP scholarship program seeks young professionals and volunteers who demonstrate a personal commitment and potential to further professional development, along with an ability to influence credit union development in his or her home country.

World Council strongly supports participation in WYCUP from credit union movements around the world and has discounted early-bird conference registration fees for young professionals by US$150. WOCCU encourages both interested young professionals to secure nominations and credit union organizations to consider nominating qualified young professionals.
