I'm donating as an
Individual
Organization

I want to support credit union development:

$300 Construction costs for new credit union facilities in rural communities provide a safe place to keep savings and conduct transactions.

$200 Training workshops for staff and board members teach new skills such as business planning, marketing, savings mobilization and governance.

$100 Operational supplies such as stationary for member registration, savings cards, lighting and furniture.

$50 Readily available capital is needed so rural members can take out loans for their children’s education or start a small business that will provide food for the family and break the cycle of poverty.

Other: $ (USD)

I want to empower credit union members:

$150 Fruit trees, maize, bee colonies, tomato plants, chickens and other nutritious items are used to start agriculture businesses and sustain livelihoods.

$100 Agriculture training teaches members better crop management techniques such as irrigation systems and water conversation practices.

$75 Equipment for crop production such as fertilizers, motor pumps, axe, hoes and shovels are needed to grow businesses and enhance yields.

Other: $ (USD)

I want to improve financial inclusion:

$300 Credit union field officers travel by motorcycle to visit rural communities so they might have access to credit and savings.

$200 Mobile technology, such as smartphones and personal digital assistants (PDAs), are used by field officers to record transactions, collect deposits and sign-up new members.

$100 Provide financial education and literacy training for members of all ages including youth.
