Marketing & Communications Intern - Madison, WI


  • Social Media: procure content, post updates, increase engagement through social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
  • Videos/Photos: Organize video and photo inventory. Edit videos into short clips for use in presentations. Tag photos for ease in search.
  • Website Content: Update website content in anticipation of web redesign. Special focus on Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions section.
  • CRM Updates: Assist with updating World Council's customer relationship management (CRM) database system contacts.


Education and Experience: Candidate will be an upper level undergraduate or graduate student. Qualified individuals will have experience with social media best practices for business, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter; excellent writing, editing, grammar and organizational skills; experience with content management systems and HTML preferred.

Desired Coursework: Communications, marketing, public relations, journalism.

SCHEDULE: 20 hours per week, flexible to accommodate schedules.

PAY RATE: $10 – $13/hour.
