Co-hosted by ICURN, World Council of Credit Unions and the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS), the ICURN Annual Conference & Continuous Education is the only event of its kind. Credit union regulators from all over the world meet in one place to gain a global perspective on regulatory issues and best practices and discuss common issues among peers in a closed forum. This invitation-only event is open to agencies with statutory authority for supervising credit unions and other financial cooperatives.

Engagement programs provide credit union leaders the opportunity to become more actively involved with international credit union development. Participants have the opportunity to travel to another country, learn about the local credit union movement and World Council's work there, as well as exchange their knowledge and expertise with others. Each program offers a different area of focus, so participants can select a program that best matches their interests.

The International Credit Union Leadership Program is an internship program that places young professionals in various credit unions overseas. The program is designed to facilitate idea exchanges, promote foreign language skill development, enhance cultural diversity and improve problem-solving skills as they relate to credit union development and management on a global basis. In addition, the program focuses on helping credit unions find new ways to attract younger members.

World Council's Young Credit Union People Program (WYCUP) is an annual scholarship program to engage and promote the next generation of credit union leaders in the international credit union movement. The scholarship is awarded to five outstanding nominees who have significantly improved their own credit union systems and have the potential to make a global credit union impact.

World Council of Credit Unions' annual regional technical congresses bring together credit union leaders from across a particular region to learn, network and train on issues relevant to the credit union system in their part of the world. Venues change annually, as World Council typically co-hosts the congresses with a different credit union league each year.

The Global Women's Leadership Network is comprised of credit union women from around the world who engage in professional and personal development through one-to-one networking, social media and educational forums. By interacting with their peers in a business setting, members access valuable resources and share international perspectives on common challenges. Those same perspectives lead to critical changes in improving people's lives on a global level.
