Young-chul Koh
National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK)
Mr. Koh Young-chul represents the Korean credit union movement as the 34th president of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK). He joined the World Council Board in 2026.
Mr.Koh currently serves as a Board Director of the NACUFOK and Chairman of the Gwangju Mun-hwa Credit Union. He was a founding member and Executive manager of the Credit union, dedication over three decades to establishing and strengthening the credit union. He later served as Executive Director from 2016 to 2019, contributing significantly to its growth and community engagement.
Mr.Koh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Chosun University and received an Honorary.doctorate in Business Administration from the same institution. With his extensive experience in cooperative leadership and financial management, he is expected to strengthen internal controls, restore financial soundness, and enhance the role of credit unions in supporting local communities.
