Credit Union National Association (CUNA)

Dallas Bergl represents the United States credit union movement as an appointee from Credit Union National Association (CUNA).

Mr. Bergl has worked in the credit union industry for over 30 years, holding positions from Collections Manager to CEO. Currently he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of INOVA Federal (IFCU); a position he has held since 1999. He has worked as a CEO for 25 years. IFCU employs over 150 people and serves members across the United States. During his tenure, IFCU has enjoyed continued asset growth, completed multiple mergers, expanded their branch platform and is executing an evolution in their service delivery platforms to ensure long term relevance.

He serves as a member of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) Board, the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions Board, Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Board and chairs their Audit Committee, and CUNA’s World Affairs Committee, and is the prior past Chairman of

the Indiana Credit Union League (ICUL) Board. He is a member of the North Central Indiana Redevelopment Authority Board, and the Lerner Theatre Governing Board. He has served as the City of Elkhart’s Ambassador to China.

While in the United States Army’s Infantry, he served in President Ronald Regan’s Presidential Escort. He has received numerous honors, awards and citations for both his military and his professional and public service. These include the Key to the City of Elkhart, Professional of the Year from the ICUL, he was inducted into the ICUL Hall of Fame in 2021, he also received the Paul Revere Award from NAFCU, and a Presidential Unit Citation while serving in the Army’s Honor Guard and others.
