Mike Reuter

President - Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions

Mike Reuter serves as President of the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU), a strategic partner of the World Council. For more than seven years, he has mobilized credit union leaders, corporate partners and philanthropists to advance financial inclusion, disaster relief and global credit union engagement in over 20 countries. Mike has driven record‑setting fundraising campaigns, raising more than $15 million for disaster relief, women’s leadership, digital transformation and Ukrainian credit union resilience.

A former museum executive turned credit union ambassador, he blends storytelling, data and value to inspire action. Mike holds degrees is administration from universities in Wisconsin, is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and completed his DE and ICUDE certifications in 2018 and 2023.
