GWLN Welcomes New Volunteer Chair
MADISON, Wis.—More than 500 members and supporters of the Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN) from over 30 countries welcomed a new volunteer chair and recognized one of the group’s emerging leaders at its first virtual breakfast celebration held in conjunction with Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC).

Global Women’s Leadership Network to Name New Volunteer Chair
MADISON, Wis.—The Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN) continues to blaze the DEI trail throughout the worldwide credit union movement with a relevant purpose—advancing women. GWLN’s mission is to provide women with opportunities to make a measurable difference in the lives of each other, their credit unions and their communities. World Council of Credit Unions will name the next GWLN volunteer chair when founding chairperson Susan Mitchell passes the baton.

CAP Project Helps Ukrainian Credit Unions Take First Step Toward Guaranteeing Member Deposits
MADISON, Wis.—World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and its Credit for Agriculture Producers (CAP) Project have agreed to provide technical assistance and international best practice expertise to Ukraine’s Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) in a joint effort to establish a deposit guarantee system for the country’s credit unions.
