Kassandra Schroeder

Director of WYCUP and Global DE - Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions

Kassandra Schroeder serves as the Director of the WYCUP (World Young Credit Union Professionals) and Global DE programs for Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions. She accepted the new role in September 2025, after working on WOCCU's Meetings and Events' team for 10 years.

A certified Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE^TM) and a PCMA certified Digital Experience Strategist (DES), Schroeder most recently worked for WOCCU as its Manager of Virtual Engagement & Special Events, but has lent her strategic vision to various WOCCU and WFCU events, including the World Credit Union Conference, since 2015.

In 2018, she spearheaded initiatives to expand to virtual programming, taking point on the development of a dedicated WOCCU Webinars online platform during the pandemic, and became responsible for managing WOCCU's virtual learning and engagement environments. She also developed best practices and processes for the execution of both virtual and in-person events across the organization (such as 2020's “Considerations for Planning a Virtual AGM”).

Prior to WOCCU, Kassandra worked for an international language services company, and worked on events for UW’s International Learning Community and the UW Language Institute.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed an international summer course with The University of Bonn. She has completed Cvent’s Virtual Events Training course and Advanced Event Management certification. As an avid reader, she has also served as president for a local library foundation.
