WFCU Expands Board with New Members
Three new members appointed to WFCU Board of Directors

MADISON, Wis.— The Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU) is excited to announce Jennifer Oliver, J. Kevin Ryan and Tyler Valentine as the newly appointed Directors to the WFCU Board of Directors.
Jennifer Oliver joins the Board as CEO of SCE Credit Union with 35 dedicated years working as a leader in the credit union industry. With her tenure in the industry, Oliver finds pride in her work to move credit unions forward. As CEO of SCE Credit Union, Oliver has led a resurgence of digitalization to drive the next generation of products and services for members. Among her many accomplishments include her work as a member of the California Credit Union League, Southern California Credit Union Alliance and the conservatorship management team working to return conservatorship back to its members.
J. Kevin Ryan, retired President/CEO of Financial Center First Credit Union, joins the Board with 13 years of governing body experience and 36 committed years in the financial services industry. Ryan has been an enthusiastic supporter of financial inclusion by advancing credit union reach in the Midwest and promoting the WFCU mission. As President/CEO of Financial Center, Ryan has been involved in several World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) projects including the Education Summit in Colombia where he shared insights on providing exceptional services to Indiana’s immigrant communities. Ryan was also instrumental in Financial Center participating in one of the World Council’s first Global Bridges Journey Initiatives with Dundalk Credit Union in Ireland.
Tyler Valentine, President/CEO of StagePoint Federal Credit Union, joins the Board with 17 years of leadership in the credit union movement. Throughout his years in the industry, Valentine has been an active and engaged advocate of the WFCU mission through the Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN) and World Young Credit Union Professionals Network (WYCUP). Valentine was a contributing member of the WYCUP Steering Committee, helping lead the network forward. He has also contributed to GWLN by presenting at events and working to align WYCUP and GWLN for maximum impact.
As prominent leaders in the credit union movement and advocates for expanding financial inclusion globally, Jennifer Oliver, J. Kevin Ryan and Tyler Valentine live the WFCU mission. The Board of Directors deepen awareness, engagement and fundraising for WFCU to further the mission of global financial inclusion. We are excited to welcome them to the WFCU Board of Directors and look forward to the new perspectives they will bring.
