The annual event is co-hosted with the Canadian Credit Union Association. The registration fee will increase US$200 per attendee after Friday, 14 April 2023.

Economic Inclusion Project Introduces ‘The Practical Guide for the Financial Inclusion of the Refugee and Migrant Population’

GWLN Members Learn How Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Will Impact Financial Inclusion
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The founder and CEO of a nonprofit innovation center that tests new technologies to drive the financial sector toward a more inclusive marketplace spoke Wednesday at the Global Women’s Leadership Network’s (GWLN) Luncheon at GAC about the way deep analytical research and modeling based on artificial intelligence and machine-learning is being applied to a handful of small, community-based U.S. financial institutions to determine the best approaches to consumer lending and risk management.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States Surprises WFCU Champions at Cooperative Voices Event
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Attendees of Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions’ (WFCU) 2nd annual Cooperative Voices event Sunday got a surprise when Oksana Markarova, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, gave a speech in which she thanked WFCU and World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) for the support they have provided to Ukrainian credit unions during Russia’s year-long war in her home country.

USAID and WOCCU Highlight ‘Migrant Integration Through Economic Inclusion'
LIMA, Peru—The USAID/World Council of Credit Unions’ Economic Inclusion Project (EIP) in February shared how it has generated opportunities for nearly 100,000 Venezuelan migrants, as well as local, vulnerable populations in Peru and Ecuador during events organized in both countries for the eighth quarterly meeting of the project, presented under the theme “Migrant Integration Through Economic Inclusion”.
