Lisa Fleming

Director of Human Resources

Lisa Fleming, Director of Human Resources, is an accomplished human resource professional with over 20 years of experience in public sectors, higher education, private industries and, more recently, the international non-profit humanitarian sector. Lisa is responsible for driving the best possible employee-centered HR service delivery.

Lisa has worked for the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), providing full life-cycle human resources support to staff located across the United States, as well as expatriates and third-country national (TCN) employees located in other countries. 

Lisa has led initiatives to align business operations with human resource practices and objectives and provided consulting and coaching services to managers and departmental leadership regarding effective people management, strategic partnerships, workforce planning, compensation, total rewards, talent acquisition and retention, diversity, equity and inclusion.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University, and a Master of Science in Administration, specializing in HR Administration, from Central Michigan University. She also possesses a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Bowie State University, and is an active Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) member. She lives in Clarksburg, Maryland, with her husband and two sons.
