Ukeme Falade
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Ukeme Falade brings more than 25 years of nonprofit financial management experience to her position with the World Council of Credit Unions. As Chief Financial Officer, Ukeme provides strategic and day-to-day direction related to the consolidated accounting and finance activities of the World Council of Credit Unions and the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions.
Ukeme’s long career includes senior finance positions in several organizations. She served as Chief Financial Officer of Africare, Inc., an international nonprofit organization with operations in more than 19 countries across Africa, where she set financial policies and led finance and administration, business planning and budgeting strategies. Ukeme implemented the organization’s first centralized accounting and scanning solution across all 19 country offices.
Ukeme began her career with The Points of Light Foundation, where she helped establish the accounting and finance department and implemented the organization’s first accounting software. Most recently, Ukeme served as the Director of Finance and Operations for Global Ties U.S.
Ukeme is originally from Nigeria. She has a bachelor's degree from Strayer University and a MBA from Ashford University. Ukeme is the proud mother of two sons and a daughter.
