Eileen Miamidian

Technical Director, Inclusive Financial Services

Eileen Miamidian joined WOCCU in 2023 as the Technical Director for Inclusive Financial Services. In this role she provides targeted technical guidance to global programs, and leads learning and collaboration efforts across the organization.

With more than 25 years of experience in over 30 countries, Ms. Miamidian’s work in financial inclusion ranges from financial institution management to the design and implementation of multi-donor financial sector deepening programs and funds. She has served on the boards and audit committees of various financial institutions.

Prior to joining WOCCU, she served as Ayani BV’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing its global research and advisory services with a focus on financial inclusion, MSME and rural development and sustainability. Recently she has led programs in the areas of digital linkages, climate finance and ESG.  At Global Communities, she supported microfinance institutions to move from non-profit status to commercially-oriented companies and oversaw negotiations which brought over $75 million in funding for these institutions. Ms. Miamidian has an Master of Science in Agricultural Economics.
