World Council of Credit Unions has established a committee dedicated to identifying best practices and strategies that credit unions around the globe can utilize in their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Click on any of the subjects below to read how the COVID-19 Response Committee is helping credit unions mitigate the health and economic impacts of the crisis in each area.

Advocating on behalf of credit unions in front of international standard setting bodies, and before regional- and national-level regulators to ensure compliance requirements are reasonable for credit unions and smaller community-based financial insitutions.
Digital Transformation +
Supporting the development and implementation of digital banking options that will allow credit unions to keep members and staff safe during the pandemic.
Credit Union Financial Strength +
Providing financial and institutional supports to credit unions and other financial cooperatives affiliated with World Council member associations and leagues to ensure the communities supported by our member credit unions have the necessary financial tools and supports needed to navigate this crisis.
